Madame Tussauds Amsterdam invites you to meet Dutch and international celebrities! At the Amsterdam Madame Tussauds you will find wax figures of royal families including the Dutch Queen Beatrix, princess Diana and Queen Wilhelmina. Also you can see our Dutch Celebritieswhich we call BN'ers (Bekende Nederlanders), popular musicians, artists, sport stars and world leaders. Madame Tussauds takes you for a 75 minutes tour through a variety of rooms. Every 3 minutes a group goes for a guided tour by elevator.
Madame Tussauds offers a guided tour for wheelchair users. Two wheelchair users at a time can join the tour, because of fire safety rules. With their companions of course. This route takes 75 minutes and uses 4 different elevators to get to all exhibitions. The exit for the tour is through large warehouse on the other side of the building.
Madame Tussauds also organizes tours for groups of people with a visual impairment. During this tour it is allowed to touch the statues and guess who they are!
The tour is made more entertaining by sound and light effects, unexpected movements and mirrors. The pathways in Madame Tussauds are hilly, bendy, can be slippery and are decorated with small stones at some places.
The first two elevators which are used for the tour are big and spacious. The two other elevators used for the wheelchair tour are smaller but accessible.
